By accessing or using Kathekon (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Kathekon Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.
Kathekon is an AI-powered daily planner that turns your goals, constraints, and available time into a time-blocked plan for today. Features include daily schedule generation, an AI Coach for execution support, notes for context, and progress tracking. The Service is provided as a subscription-based web application.
Kathekon offers the following paid plans:
After the free trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Billing is handled by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects payment, remits applicable VAT and sales taxes globally, and issues receipts. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service. Kathekon Labs LLC does not store your payment card details.
Subscription renewals are charged automatically at the start of each billing period. You will receive a receipt via email from Paddle. Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice.
You agree to use Kathekon only for lawful, personal purposes. The following are prohibited:
Accounts found to be in violation may be suspended or terminated without notice.
Plans, time blocks, and Coach responses are generated by AI models and are provided as suggestions only. They do not constitute professional advice — medical, legal, financial, therapeutic, or otherwise. Kathekon Labs LLC is not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated output. You retain full responsibility for how you use the plans and recommendations provided by the Service.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. Always apply your own judgment.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Kathekon, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. Kathekon Labs LLC may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, without obligation to provide a refund for any remaining subscription period. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases.
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except as described below or as required by applicable law. The 14-day free trial described in Section 3 means no payment is collected until you actively choose to subscribe, so there is nothing to refund during the trial itself.
EU/UK statutory right of withdrawal: if you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a separate legal right to withdraw from your subscription purchase within 14 days of payment for a full refund, even after the trial above has ended. This right does not apply if you explicitly confirmed during checkout that you want immediate access to the Service and acknowledged that doing so waives this withdrawal right — Kathekon asks for this confirmation directly at signup, separately from the rest of these Terms.
To request a refund, contact kathekon.app@kathekon.app with your account email and the reason for your request. Refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and are issued to the original payment method.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Kathekon Labs LLC does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. During the beta period, no uptime guarantee is made. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kathekon Labs LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Service. This includes loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
